Eligibility Requirements
- Eligible refrigerators must be in working order and capable of cooling and/or making ice.
- The unit must be plugged in and inspected prior to pickup.
- All units must be between 10 and 30 cubic feet.
- Elevator access is required if unit is located above a second floor.
- Units must be accessible and not require any deconstruction.
- Units must be empty and not present safety concerns during pickup.
- Units must be owned by the PNM customer and picked up at the premise where they reside.
- Homeowner or an adult over the age of 18 must be present during pickup.
- In order to be eligible for the Appliance Recycling program the household must receive electricity service from PNM.
- Ensure pets are crated or removed during an in home pickup even if they are friendly.
- Homeowner or an adult, over the age of 18, must be present during pickup.
